The Patriarch
"Took a look down a west-bound rode & right away I made my
choice.   Headed out to my big two wheeler..."

--Bob Seger
The guy that started it all with a Yamaha RD350 that he kept down the
street at a friends house pictured below with one of his many BMWs.
There are no photographs on record of the RD 350 because of the

The early years...
Kawasaki ZX-7 Ninja.  Is that hair spray
in your hair, Phil?
Another Kawasaki, this one a GPz
1100.  I tipped it over once trying to
ride it in a parking lot.  He made me
walk home.  Thankfully, he totaled it a
few years later or I would still be
hearing about it today.
'The Phil J"
Yamaha FJR 1100
My brother riding what he thought was the
'ultimate tour bike'.  He finally came to his
senses & realized he was much too young
to be riding a Goldwing and switched to a
BMW.  He has also realized he is much
too young to die and has began wearing a
helmet on a regular basis.
After the grandpa years of the Gold
Wing, it's been nothing but
German-made bikes, sometimes 2
at a time.

Colorado with the BMW Club.
Tweetie, Phil's pet bird.  They ran
